Some long days on the return trip!

Just noticed that as well as using canalplan.eu for planning, you can enter your actual stopping points and have it create a map of where you went.

The conversion, (or maybe rebuild), of the warehouses on the junction seems to be progressing, albeit very slowly.

This cottage on the way to King's Norton has been under renovation for years - now it is marked as dangerous to enter.  I wonder what went wrong.

Preston Bagot and back

A first night's mooring with the moon rising above Bascote bottom lock.

Second night's mooring below Hatton Lock 3

 Graffiti on the ugly bridge part way up Hatton.

An unusual garden ornament on the roof terrace of a cottage at Preston Bagot.

The welcoming committee on the offside of one of the locks, with no sign of any owner nearby as we passed.

It looks as though there's just a tree root holding the offside bank together above Bascote bottom lock.  The nearby fields seem to be filling up with canal water from the leak.
