We spent a gray Saturday heading for Braunston, and moored up on the puddle banks to walk into town. When we got there in the early afternoon the boat parade was still under way. Well, it was more of a slow queue in places really, and the picture gives a hint why. The man with the megaphone said that it had taken two and a half hours longer than expected.
Sunday was one of those perfect summer days where the few white clouds in the sky seem to be there just so that you can appreciate the blue of the sky better.
